Astrophytum myriostigma Onzuka is an attractive slow-growing cactus with a stem marked with many white spots. The stem is globular to cylindrical and usually has five ribs. The markings are very variable from plant to plant. Flowers are glossy yellow, funnel-shaped, and appear from the areoles at the tip of the stem.
